It sits on interior mesas with relatively easy neighborhood circulation and a strong stock of original ranch houses that have become popular for renovation and expansion.
The area feels more uniformly residential than some parts of Clairemont, with parks and neighborhood-serving retail nearby rather than a strong commercial presence within the neighborhood itself. Its appeal comes from that consistency — buyers know what they are getting in the Mount Streets: practical lots, straightforward home layouts, and a location that remains central to beaches, Mission Bay, UTC, and major freeway routes.
The Mount Streets tend to reward thoughtful renovation more than sheer square footage.
